Library Map and Directions
Directions to the University Library:
From the South: Drive north on the 405 freeway and take the CA-22 W/7th street exit. Continue straight on to 7th street. The University will be on your right. Turn right on East Campus Drive and make an immediate left to reach the South Campus Turnaround.
From the North: Drive south on the 405 freeway and exit on Bellflower Blvd. south. Turn left on Los Coyotes Diagonal and an immediate right on Bellflower. Follow Bellflower for several blocks, and then turn left on Beach Dr to enter campus. The visitor/parking information booth will be on your right and they can provide parking information and directions to the library.
The closest Short-Term parking is available in the South Campus Turnaround. Short-Term spaces offer 30-, 60-, and 90-minute parking (paid at a paystation). Alternatively a day pass can be purchased at the Visitor/Parking Info Booth allowing parking in many lots on campus.

Librarian Research Desk
The Research & Information desk (R&I Desk) is located on the 1st floor of the library. Hours indicate when a librarian will be available at the desk to guide you in your research and help you locate information.
Chat help from a librarian is available 24/7. When the desk is open a CSULB librarian will help you. Outside of those hours, a librarian from our co-op will answer your chat.
You can also make an appointment with your librarian subject specialist when you need assistance with extensive research questions.
Special Collections and Archives
Special Collections and University Archives (SCUA) contains rare books, manuscripts, university historical records, and other unique material. The department is located on the 3rd Floor (Room 300) of the Library. Please contact the department with any questions or to access materials at LIB-Archives@csulb.edu.
I-Space
The Innovation Space (I-Space), located on the Library’s lower level, is an interdisciplinary design facility. It includes four areas:3D printing, a 360 theater, a Powerwall, and a media studio. Make an appointment to use advanced equipment for your academic projects.
