Learning About ORCID & How It Impacts You! CSULB Library, Room 305 In-Person
Attention: this workshop is for faculty
Most major publishers and grant-funders now require you to have an ORCID iD. But what is an ORCID iD, and how does one use it? Mark Bilby of CSU Fullerton will explain the history of ORCID globally and in the CSU, then guide us through the free process of registering, connecting, curating, and leveraging our ORCID records to make the metadata and links to our academic research and publications more discoverable, shareable, and automatable across systems. Please bring your laptops!
This workshop is in Room 305 of the CSULB University Library. Light lunch will be served.
