Come see a panel of authors and faculty to discuss the issue of book challenges and bans across the country. We will be joined by author Elana K. Arnold as well as faculty member Lindsay Perez Huber, with moderation by CSULB librarian Cathy Outten. Don't miss this chance to explore the importance of intellectual freedom, followed by a book sale and signing with Elana K. Arnold.

Elana K. Arnold - Author of many books for children and Young Adults, most recently The Blood Years, a historical fiction novel based on the experiences of her grandmother’s experiences in WW2 Romania, winner of the Sydney Taylor Award and the National Jewish Book Award for young people’s literature. She is winner of the Printz Honor Medal for her book Damsel, and her novel What Girls are Made Of was a National Book Award Finalist.
